The rumors are true. All newborns do is eat, sleep and poop. No shit. That's really all they do. I had a rude awakening to this reality when on our first morning home, I woke up and got out this farm animal play mat with stuffed animals and all sorts of play things. Also, I grabbed a black and white picture book, and this rubber squeaky giraffe that my friend Rebecca swears by just for good measure. I was ready to play. Nope. Newborns don't play. Gotta wait 3 months for that. 3 MONTHS! Nobody told me this 9 months ago. Eat, sleep, and poop.
