Mud Season Walk

Brooke and Sedona braving the mud for an afternoon walk.

"Anona" at Killington

A few weeks back Sedona decided she needed some time with her cousin Rowan. After a brief chat with him on her toy phone she requested that we drive her down to Killington for the weekend to meet up with Kirby, Melanie, and Rowan. She had a great time chasing him around the shag carpet and playing outside. Rowan's vocabulary now covers at least half the Oxford-English dictionary and he had no trouble calling out, "Anona, go this way", as they ran around the condo. A great weekend and fun to watch the first cousins get to know each other.

Resourceful

Sedona loves teething biscuits as an after dinner treat but they're really messy and she usually gets the pasty residue in her hair. So we only give them to her on bath nights. It takes her a while to gnaw through these things so we usually have to cut it short to get her upstairs for a bath. She's found a way around that issue, however. She likes to walk to her own bath but needs both hands to hold onto us. What to do with the cookie? This week she figured out she could carry it in her mouth all the way up to bathroom like a Saint Bernard, stopping a few times to take a proper bite then returning it to her mouth for the remainder of the journey.
