Saturday Splashdown

Swim lessons are going well. Sedona learned flip turns today. Making progress...

Brooke-a-like

In these shots that Meme (Rella) took, Sedona looks so similar to some of the photos I've seen of Brooke as a baby. And that cute little number she's wearing was given to Sedona by our friend Jenny, now ranked #1 in the outfit rotation!

Belly Laughs

A little peek into what we do every night around 6:30pm. A good belly laugh can always be heard from Sedona as getting-ready-for-bed usually turns into a play session. And Meme (Rella) was here for this one to offer a little extra entertainment for her. So. Much. Fun.

Breaking Bread

We seem to have found a food that Sedona is willing to eat. She likes bread. And bagels (like any Vermont Jewish girl). Here she is bouncing and gnawing on a piece of hearty whole wheat.

Splitting Atoms

Sedona, trying to untangle phylotic physics.

Doctors Office

I can't remember if I've posted this one before. If so, sorry for the repeat. This is the sign that is posted on the door at Sedona's doctors office.

Swing into Winter

Riding in the swing at the playground makes Sedona so happy that we're convinced if we didn't bring her in, she would stay out there till she froze solid with a smile on her face.

Changing Table Fun

Fun on the changing table before bed.

All Grown Up

Kateri took Sedona for a walk this past week. In the past when using this stroller we would keep her in the car seat. Now that she can sit up on her own, goodbye car seat - hello front facing stroller. Next thing we know she'll be going off to college. She's growing up too fast...

50+ Degrees

A few weekends back the weather warmed up to over 50 degrees and the sun was out for 2 days. While this may seem like weather to celebrate, in a ski town the entire community starts to grumble. Despite our frustration we spent many hours outside with Sedona. Check out those new pink shoes!

Back where it all began

16 years ago we were racing Dartmouth at home. Brooke, her Dad, and youngest sister Brenna came to the race. Brenna was about 8 years old and at the time was into her "click" camera. She snapped this photo of us on the front porch of the boathouse after the race (one of the few we won). 16 years later we took a photo in the same spot with Sedona.

Sedona to Syracuse

A few weeks back, all of our closest friends from Syracuse returned to campus with offspring in tow. We went back to the boathouse (where we spent 1000's of hours rowing hundreds of miles so that we could win a total of 5 races in 4 years). Many of us went to the football game and walked around campus checking out old haunts, hoping to catch a glimps of Eli the drunken guitar-playing bum. It was a fantastic 3 days with everyone and now Sedona has been to the place that made everything else possible.

Beauty Mask

Sedona, with food everywhere but her stomach. Looks more like she's applied some type of new age cosmetic facial mask instead of eating a tasty meal of butternut squash.
