Snow flakes on her tongue

Sedona and I took a walk this afternoon while it was snowing. She loves being outside and the cold temps and snowy flakes seemed to make her all the more interested in being out there (not to mention she was protected by her 10th Mountain Division ski suit). We went down to look at the sheep then walked back up the hill for a scenic view of the Worcester range. Her nose got pink and she stuck her tongue out, unintentionally catching snow flakes on it. A nice winter walk, on Oct 31.

6 Months Old

Playground

This past Wednesday Brooke and Sedona went to the playground for some outdoor fun. They happened to run into two of our friends and their kids who are a bit older than Sedona. Brooke put her in the swing and she went crazy, giggling with joy as the other kids pushed her.

BYOP

Last night Robin, Scott, and Declan came over for a pumpkin carving party. Sedona decided she wanted me to create a moose pumpkin while she carved a googly-eyed pumpkin modeled after herself. Brooke broke the mold and paid homage to her love for Vermont.

First Swim Lesson

Brooke and I enrolled Sedona in a 6 week swimming class at our gym. Here she is looking ready to splash in her bikini from Meme. She loved the water and seemed to have no fear as she tried to jump to Brooke off the side wall. Next week we're sending her to Coach Shoulberg at GA for long course training.

Halloween Parade

Sedona's Daycare held a Halloween parade this past week and the pink bunny made an appearance.

Vermont Jumping Bean

Thanks to Sarah and Mark for lending Sedona their Jumperoo!

Sedona in the 215

Last weekend we took Sedona down to Philly, her first trip to Mima and Grandad's house. Aunt Rachel, Uncle Fernando, Oscar, and Aunt Brenna made the trip up from Baltimore. Sedona went to Grandad's football game where his team won in convincing fashion. Oscar taught Sedona how to sit up! Mostly though, she and Oscar got to spend some quality time together with their grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Thanks to Janet and Andy for such a fantastic weekend.

Pop to Vermont

18" of snow, 6 bottles of wine, three pumpkins, two hikes, two ski bars, two Stowe season passes, two home cooked meals, one trip to Green Top Market, one pizza, one Skype call with Meme, and one smitten grandfather along with one happy mountain girl. What a weekend for Pop's first visit to Vermont.
