5 Months Old
Sedona, eating the sign, on her 5 month birthday. There were just too many great shots to only post one. On one hand, I can't believe she's already 5 months. On the other, I can't believe she's only been in our lives for 5 months. It feels like Sedona's been a part of us for so much longer than that.

Powder Hound in Training
Sushi Panda
Decent sushi is hard to come by up here. We found a place near my office. The hours are strange, the people who run the shop are strange, and the restaurant interior is also strange. All signs that their fish will be good. I picked up the full spread after work and Brooke and I had it for dinner this past Friday. Sedona wanted to participate in the experience as well. Fish was decent.

Signs of Fall
After breakfast at the Bagel Shop, we took a morning hike. While views of Mt. Mansfield were a bit obscured due to cloud cover, signs of Fall are already visible. This was Sedona's second time up the Peakaview trail. Although the last time we did it she slept the entire trek. This time she took in the views a bit more.

Bounce Around the Room
We got Sedona an exersaucer about a month ago and in the past few weeks we've noticed her eying it with interest. At first she wasn't strong enough, or tall enough, to enjoy it. Now she seems to have the hang of it and can hold herself up easily while bouncing and attempting to put her mouth on each and every toy station. She's still not tall enough so we've been using The Good House Keeping Illustrated Cookbook as a foot stool!

Outdoor Outing
This morning we took Sedona to the "Touch a Truck, Pet a Horse" event. They had live horses and all manner of fire trucks, ambulances, lifted jeeps, and police cars, along with horses of all sizes. We met up with Sarah, Carter, Hayden, and Sarah's Mom and also with Robin and Scott Coggins and their son Decklin. Sedona had her first playground experience, which is to say she stood on the jungle gym and put her mouth on it. The most exciting part of the event was when she interacted with the Dwarf Mini Horse. Yes, you read that right. It was like some mystical Vermont farm creature, no doubt the result of a barn-yard incest orgy gone wrong. Good Vermont fun.
