Bottle Feeding Round 3: SUCCESS!!!!!

When she woke up this time she was starving. Literally. When all else fails, put your trust in human survival instincts. As I sat on the floor with ear plugs and headphones on and Sedona screaming louder than I've ever heard, I went in with a "bottle of hope." She grabbed the device with both hands (that in itself could be worth its own blog post) and latched on, drinking all 3 ounces in under 2 minutes.

After sleeping if off again, we had many more successes throughout the day, Sedona taking another 3 ounces immediately followed by another 2 ounces. Then later, after a bath and a substantial play time, another 2.5 ouces.

While we're not completely out of the woods, I think we're seeing daylight and can all breath easy. Here are some photos of a very happy and full Sedona. I left the bib on as a symbol of our triumph together. This was a right of passage for the two of us and I can't describe in words how amazing I feel. Sedona is in great spirits. Onward!
