Today was the day. Sedona has been refusing the bottle with extreme prejudice. After doing much reading and having many conversations with other parents we decided to go in whole hog and refuse her the boob. The plan was for Brooke to pump fresh milk and leave me alone with Sedona all day. I did some prep work and got all the bottles, milk, and necessary gear ready for the event.
Seen above:
- Ear plugs and head phones to be worn in an attempt to stay calm through the inevitable screaming
- Playtex Dropin bottle with latex nipple, the recommended choice by parents whose babies choose only to dine at the Boob Cafe
- Bib to catch the wasted milk that will most certainly end up everywhere but her stomach
- Burp cloth to mop up the aftermath
