Another wonderful surprise visit on Saturday night: Doug and Brita came up! They brought with them their usual kit of wine and good energy. We ordered pizza, made a huge fire in the backyard, bundled Sedona up in a blanket and treated her to her first camp fire.
Doug and Sedona took to each other immediately. He snuggled with her while she sucked his thumb to the bone. Then she fell asleep in his arms by the fire. The next morning Doug and I gave her a bath. All was going well until the water turned muddy as Sedona pooped in her tub! Doug reacted quickly, remaining calm as he picked her up while I rinsed out the tub and refilled it. No more than a moment after she was free and clear of the poop water did she let loose for round 2, all over Doug's hands. He has officially been baptized an Uncle.
